Salvador's House Party: More sneaky peaks and minor BAA Update! :)

Hey Peeps! It is I once again bringing you...Well actually this isn't really going to be a long Post to be honest, just going to give you all a couple of sneak peaks of Salvador's House Party and just a really small Update regarding BAA. Why? Because I'm nice like that. :)

I have to say the more I work on Salvador's House Party, the more I'm seriously considering including them into my Comic idea, personally I think they'd fit in quite nicely actually. :)
First up is the drunken Vampire Cat from moi's dreams (with the added fish tails for feet). I also took the liberty of experimenting with a blood stained type background.
It's Salvador! Who unintentionally ended up looking like a Vampire colour wise. :/ Please believe me when I say that this was NOT intentional I swear! But saying that methinks he looks quite good this way. :)
And here's the cross-dressing Bodyguard with extremely dangerous saws for knickers (eeeeep)! Don't mess with this Elephanty/Swany guy eh?

Now onto the BAA Comp. Truthfully I've been quite busy recently, in fact I've only just finished being a  Runner at The Mill recently so haven't really done as much as I'd like for Al Pasheepo & Gang. :( Neverless I REFUSE give up! I will make it dammit! Even if I miss the bloody Deadline, at least I'd have tried. Hopefully my next Update will be about BAA again so fingers crossed Peeps and watch this space...

Well that's all for now folks and until next time...

See ya later Navigators! :D

It's Doodle Time: Sergeant Nutty Concept in just 3½ Hours! O_o

Hey Peeps! It is I once again bringing you more entertainment from my Doodle Time series. :)

Peeps allow me to introduce you all to Sergeant Nutty! A weird looking, extremely screwed up creature whose a Leader of his Army Recruits and "vants to taketh over ze vorld'! He may be all smiles but he's nothing but a...Well, a crazy bully with serious issues really. Villain wise he's actually pretty clueless and crap.
So what plans do I have for Sergeant Nutty and what sort of role would he play in the future? Truthfully none, not right now anyway. In fact I've only just dreamt up his character last night due to this...
As could see from what I've circled, the Deadline was today at 12 Noon. So what's the problem you ask? I only just discovered this part last night at 02:15 AM! O_o In fact the one day I decided not look at that Website, this Advertisement popped up! At first I was gutted, I was all "Why?! Oh why, oh why didn't I see this earlier?! Now all hope as been lost and I'm never, ever going to be successful!" Then suddenly I snapped myself out of it and thought, "Wait a damn minute! I've still got some hours to go til the deadline! Is it shorter than I'd like it to be? Yes, but is it more than enough to create a rough concept art? Hell yeah! I'll do what ever I can in this short space of time and even if I don't make it on time, at least I tried!"

Of course I knew I didn't have enough time to animate (unfortunately) but knew I had enough time to illustrate roughly. Usually with my illustrations I'd like to take my time so they could look fantastic but in this case I had rush it quickly! Spent 2 hours all together designing Nutty as quickly as possible, then decided to go to bed and wake up earlier to finish the rest of the Doodles BUT I then slept longer than expected and only had 1½ to finish the rest before the deadline struck! O_o Thanks to moi's adrenaline rush I was able to send them 5 minutes before 12! :D (Whew!)

Have to say I'm quite proud of myself actually, for once I stood up to my Negative thoughts! :D Just goes to show how much difference Positivity can make. I'll be honest, while the Doodles don't look too bad, however, if I had more time I think Sergeant  Nutty could've looked better, in fact I know he could've looked better BUT when you consider how much time I had to rush him I think I did pretty good job. :) Even if I don't get accepted, at least I tried and that my wonderful Peep Peeps is the Key. Ideally I'd rather be in an Animation Industry by now but hey, we all got to start somewhere. All in all positivity for the WIN!!!!! :D

Well, that's all for now folks and until next time...

Operation BAA!!!!!: Introducing Al Sheeprina, Werelvis & Maiyundonna! :D

Howdy Peeps! It is I once again bringing you the latest Update of the BAA Comp. :)

This time I'll be introducing you all to 3 brand new characters who'll be joining Al Pasheepo in this psychopathic...err I mean "magically"short. So without further ado ladies and gentleman please feast your eyes and meet...
Al Sheeprina, the wife of Al Pasheepo! And as you can see she too has a miserable looking face and loves to smoke a cigarette, such a perfect couple eh? Oh and you guys may not know this but did you know that Al Pasheepo and Al Sheeprina are the King and Queen of Sheeps? No? Well now you do! :p Wouldn't think it would you? Anyways just so you guys know she along with her hubby will also be the main protagonist of this short so watch this space.

And now boys & girls let moi introduce you all to...
Werelvis (Uh-huh-huh)! This overly obese tool is the King of all Wolves and the main antagonist of this short. But is he acting alone???????
I guess not! Meet his wife Maiyundonna, the Queen and slut of all Wolves! By the way did you guys know "Maiyun" means "Wolf"in Cheyenne? Get it? I found I another way to be clever with word names. Har, har, har, I'm like sooooooooooooo funny(!) Tch, in all seriousness just had to find another way to name her in order for it to make sense (well, for me anyway).
Not a character just a rough concept art for a Chessboard I plan on also using in this short. I have to say it isn't bad when you consider this is my first time of actually drawing this on Photoshop instead of my usual "old fashioned"way. However, I can't help but feel this Chessboard design looks too soft to be in my short, especially when you consider how sharp Al Pasheepo & and gang look compared to this. Personally I think I'll need to make it sharper and shinier next time. Saying that at least it was good practice to improve my Wacom skills. :) So what do you guys think of all this? As always constructive criticisms welcomed. :)

Well that's all for now folks and until next time...

Operation BAA!!!!!: Al Pasheepo Walk Cycle Test and an announcement...

What's up Peeps?! It is I once again bringing you the latest developments for the BAA Comp. :)

First of all I am now have an Account on CG-HUB woohoo! :D Well actually I've been signed up since June but have only recently uploaded my illustration work onto it so please do check it out and follow moi if possible. Also if anyone else has an Account please do let me know thanks. :)

Secondly as you may have noticed from the Title I've slightly changed Al Pasheepino to Al Pasheepo. Why you ask? Well as the Anonymous User kindly pointed out the name was too long and suggested to rename the latter. To be honest I liked that idea and plus it sounds a lot more closer the Al Pacino name so thanks for that Anonymous. :)

Now although I've been working on the Storyboard, I tend to have this really bad habit of wanting to do everything animation now, now, NOW! I tried resisting myself but I couldn't help it, I just had to do an animation test. Also I've never done that many walk cycles in any of my animation work so figured this would also be the best time to practice it for a bit too.
And VIOLA!!!!! Here's the result! :D I have to say I'm quite impressed with this walk cycle considering I rarely do it. Obviously I still need more practice but it's a good start. :) Also bare in mind this is just an animation test, I don't plan to use it in my final piece. I've also taken the liberty uploading the "work in progress" of the first frame. Observe...
Interesting when you see the work in progress isn't it? I can only speak for myself but if you want great movement in your animation then it's always best to start from a skeleton form. Does it take longer? Yes but is it worth? Completely, especially when you get fantastic animation results bringing your character to life. :)

Now onto Storyboards, I've done more but because I've slightly changed the idea I'm going to have to do them again so here's just one frame.
I'm also planning on using a couple of Wolves as well so here below is a rough concept...
And before I bring this latest Update to a close here's a quick announcement...

For GANTO: Renaissance I'm actually planning on making a couple of "Behind The Scenes" Video Diary and will more than likely start Uploading them unto Youtube (and possibly Vimeo as well) and to help get into practice I'm seriously considering starting to do them with the BAA Comp/Al Pasheepo film. I'm not really sure yet but we'll see. :)

Well that's all for now folks and until next time...
