SEASON'S GREETINGS AND WHAT'S TO COME IN THE NEW YEAR

Merry Christmas/Eid Murbarek/Samay-Akh Hanukkah/Insert Any Other Religious Festivity You Believe In Here and a Happy New Year! :D

It is I once bringing a Final Update for 2010 BUT fear not Peeps Peeps for I'll defoe be back in the New Year showcasing more of my Art! ;)

For this Years' Xmas I decided to make my very own Xmas Card which is more to my liking and for it I decided to create this crazy Action Movie style Poster as well as slightly combining together well known Xmas Characters and well known Movie Stars merging them into...Well these fellows. :p

The 2 Images are the same thing but the only difference between the 2 is that the Top Image is the Card itself and the Bottom is just the Movie Style Image & Writing WITHOUT the Season Greetings for you all to see more clearly because let's face it I did kinda overdo it with an awful amount of Writing! O_o

So unfornately the actual Art Work itself ended up being a lot smaller than I wanted it to be. Hope you like them. :)



I also decided to be a little bit PC and include the other Faiths since I have Friends from different Backgrounds and beliefs as well as me being a Muslim myself so why not? ;) I have to say ever since I finished this I'm now seriously considering making this into a Film for next Xmas! O_o Just need to finalize a Story first though because I've only got a really vague idea right now. I'm also still only thinking about it so watch this space.

Now before I end this Blog just a couple of quick Updates:

1. They'll be more Production Updates for "The Bitter Squirrel" Animation so do keep an eye out for this particular Critter. ;)

2. After the success of "The 7 Deadly Sins" I'm now planning on creating a next Illustration Series called "Alter Egos & Caricatures" based on my good Buddies INCLUDING myself but don't worry I'll be nice to you all (if you're reading this)! ;) Unlike "The 7 Deadly Sins" Series I plan to Finish & Upload them altogether this time. Also be aware that "The Bitter Squirrel" will be my Top priority so it may take some time I'm afraid.

3. Just more Illustrations I suppose and hopefully some Animation work this time...IF I EVER GET TO FINISH THEM!!!!! D:<

SKITTER THAT BITTER CRITTER : SQUIRREL UPDATE

Hey Peep Peeps! :D Yes it I once again bringing you more Updates on the current work in Progress of my wonderful Squirrel Friend! ;)

Remember when I said I was going to tweak his Final Design because the Feedback I received from my fellow peers was that he looked like a Cat? Well since moi takes constructive criticisms very, VERY seriously I've done just that.

As you can see from the Images below I just took small aspects I liked from my original Designs, looked more closely at what Squirrels ACTUALLY look like, mixed them together and...VIOLA!!!!! Here's Ze result! :D I just came up with this even more better looking (as well as Ugly) Final Squirrel Designs! :D I have to say I'm really proud of myself he just looks more awesome now. :)

As well as the above Designs I've also taken the liberty of Colouring him and after many Colour Tests and Experimentations this Red Colour is the Winner! :D

And just to show my Journey even further here are the other Colour Tests/Experimentations of "What could've been". ;p

"THE BITTER SQUIRREL": NEXT ANIMATION PROJECT

Hey Peeps! Did ya all miss me? :D

Yes it is I once again to inform you of my next Animation Project "The Bitter Squirrel".

Now as you all know by now I have been working on this for some time and whilst I'm still in my Pre-Production Stages I have however decided to keep you all Updated from time to time. :)

Here are the Character Design Sheets of the Title Character himself. You may be thinking "But wait haven't you already Designed him?" Well yeah but as much as I LOVE that other Design I do however feel that body wise he'll be too hard to Animate, not impossible just hard. Personally I'd love to do it the hard way but my schedule is quite tight so it's not really the best idea for now.



Original Designs of the Squirrel Character Design Re-make and as you can see I tried out lots of different Styles to make this work.

You're all probably thinking "Why the HELL is he smiling?!" Well there's a good reason for that...It's his Younger Years when he was so happy and Free-Spirited before he became a Bitter Asshole! :p


Chosen Design right here experimenting with his 1 Year old self (that's 20 in Squirrel Years so he's NOT a Baby just to make that clear) Facial Features.

I haven't really done much of this because it's more his older self I'm concentrating on to be honest.


Here he is as his much more Older, Uglier self and boy does he look Pissed and Bitter now! :p

Once again more Facial Features Experimentation going on here.


Did you know that Squirrels only live up to 6 Years if, IF they're very, VERY lucky BUT NOW...

He's of course gone WAAAAAAAAAAAY beyond 6! In fact he's over 20 here!

He's sooooooooooooooooo old that's he's now beginning to rot ALIVE!!!! O_o

It so bad even his Eyeballs are Bulgingly Popping out! O_o


Yeah his Popping out Bulging Eyeballs took up an awful lot of space so I had to continue the Facial Feature Experimentations on another Sheet of Paper. :/


From the Feedback from my fellow Peers I got I'm aware that he looks like a Cat so don't worry I'm already on the case to tweak this problem but for now I'll just show you guys what I've done so far as well as constantly Updating this to show the current work in progress.

Any helpful tips and Feedbacks would be very much appriciated.

PHILLIP THE MUTANT VAMPIRE (COLOURED VERSION)

Hey Peeps! It is I De Eval One here once again to show off another finished Illustartion of mine I've done in Coloured! :D

I have to say ever since I've successfully Coloured "The 7 Deadly Sins" I just really want to Colour ALL my images now HAHA! :D

So of course I decided to take a bit of a Liberty with my wonderful Mutant Vampire Character otherwise known as Phillip! :p

As you can see with moi's chosen Colours I'm really trying to bring back the Old School Style of my favorite Legendary Monsters Vampires! Just need to make them awesome again! I really, REALLY HATE what they've become today! D:< Why oh WHY have they been turned into such Wussies I'll never know! :(

So yeah hopefully I can help recreate the awesome Vampire Legends the way they SHOULD be in my future Stories. :)

THE 7 DEADLY SINS IN COLOUR AND MINOR UPDATE

Hey Peeps! It is I once again with more Updates! :D


First of all sorry for not Updating for some time but alas I've been EXTREMELY busy recently and will be for some time so I may not be able to Update as often as I like but I'll try my best. Also my next Film Project will be "Bitter Squirrel" so do expect Updates from time to time about that particular one. :)

In the mean time let me make up for the lack of Updates by Posting the Coloured Versions of "The 7 Deadly Sins"! :D

Obviously I'm not going to introduce them again because you should know about them by now! :p But here's some descriptions of certain Colours I've deceided to give them. :)
WRATH!!!!!

To be honest I think the Colour Schemes to use for Wrath was so obviously pridictable that I could've just done this blind folded! :p

Saying that I do think this Firey Devilish feel for him truely does work! The only thing I think could've been better though is perhaps the Background. Don't get me wrong I love the Fire Effect I've given it but I can't help and just feel it might be a bit too...Orange. :/ Maybe even more orange than Dale Winton O_o (well almost :p)! Maybe the Fire Effect should be less Orange and perhaps more Darker but then that's just me, you guys might disagree.
Now Sloth's Colour Scheme is a tricky one because I'm really not sure if this one works at all. :/

To give it somewhat of a Sleepy, tragic feel I felt the best Colours to use are Purple and Blue which as you can see mixed together are the majority Colours here.

I don't know, there's somthing about this that just doesn't seem...Right. :/ I'm considering Re-Colouring him and trying out Brownish type Colours like an Owl or somthing but that's just me you guys might feel differently.
Man Eater Lust!

For Lust's Colour Scheme I thought it'd be best to give her somewhat of a Romantic yet Darkly Gothic feel so after extensive research the marjority of the Colours are Purple and Dark Pink.

Personally I think this Scheme turned out brilliantly! However the only parts I don't think quite worked is the Wine Glass (then again it's more the way I Drew it I have a big problem with) and the Necklace which IMO is too bright.
Envy.

A Greenish yet Firey like Battle Scheme for the Character of Envy just to give her a more threatening look (well...She IS a 6 armed mutant Reptile like Demon you know :p). Personally I think this Colour Scheme works quite well for her but what do you think? I don't know.
PRIDE!!!!! I love my Pride he's Gorgeous! :D (Even though he's a bloody Eval B*****D! O_o)

ANYWAY enough perving over my own Creation (how disturbing O_o) back to business! Now for Pride's Character I thought what Colours would suit this particular Dude the best? And then I figured that Gold and Red (mostly Gold though) are the Perfect Colours to represent his pure Vanity and arrogance.

I have to say I really like this Colour Scheme, it works so well IMHO!
Now Greed I say was the most difficult Sin to Colour.

All sorts of Colours I tried just wouldn't suit him at all and whilst tempting I refused to give him the same Colours as The Joker for if I did then he wouldn't really look like my own Character anymore and I truely do want to make these my own.

After many Tests and Experiments I felt Gold, Green and Red (but mostly Gold) best suited him of all.
Fatso Gluttony! (God how much I HATE this Sin! UGH!!!!! D:<)

For this disgusting thing I really wanted to give the type of Colours that would just vomitly frastrates you! I also decided to give him blood like brusing to really give the feel of how irritatingly Obese he is!

Hey Peeps! Yes it is I De Lady Of Darkness here once again to entertain you all this time with Animation Tests! :D

Here are a couple of Animation Tests of mine (from Moi's very own Vimeo Link) which also includes the Chip The Wolf (the loveable Cookie Crisp Mascot we all know and love) Animation back when I did my Work Placement at Uli Meyer which IMHO is still the best Animation I've ever done to date. I'd really love it if I can Animate on an exact same Level as that, if I could do it once I can as HELL do it again it's now or never!

BTW for the Animation Tests sorry for the bad quality but alas my Laptop, Computer and Scanner are STILL being the useless farts that they are so again I had to Photograph them instead. :(

I think I may have to do Skeletons more often but the problem with that is that it takes too much time. :/ Must seriously consider using this Technique though.

JONATHAN'S REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O_o (GANTO THERAPY)

HEY PEEPS!!!!! It's annoying me again! :D

As some of you may know my Film Project "GANTO" did not turn out so well and although the planned Remake is definately still on the cards I am however still really upset about it going wrong. But if there is one thing I know is that laughter is my best Medicine (laughing ALWAYS helps me get through the toughest challenges) so I've decided to humour myself by doing a Self-Parody of how I feel about this whole sad sorry mess.

Here I've made the awesomely down to earth, cheerful, bubbly and lovely Jonathan (one of the Key Characters of "GANTO" and must Add the most Popular amongst my Peers) into somthing Devilish Evil! O_o Jonathan personality wise is the type of Character I'd love to be, pretty much representing my cheerful side and now I've twisted him into an angry, bitter menace. Basically showing how angry at myself for letting this go so wrong! D:< As well as letting so many people down, that was not funny. :(>

So yes Drawing this has made me feel a little better. Hell I should be doing this more often! Self Tharapies are goooooooooooood. :) Espcially Humoures ones haha! :D

TENTACLED HARPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Hey peeps it's me again with another Illustration to show. :)

Sorry for the roughness it's just that my Laptop, Computer and Scanner are all STUPID so I've put it as a Photo for now.

The man wanting a bit of "LURVE" ends up getting captured by a Tentacled Harpie (who's now sucking his Heart with a Straw) and his Wife is pissed off that she has to save him AGAIN! That's right he's a dirty man ho! Why doesn't she just leave him I don't know.

This was one idea for Frank Frazetta Competiton but I got a bit carried away and now it's become too Cartoony to enter it. :/ No worries I've got another idea so I'll work on the next one and be more careful this time. :)

Don't get me wrong I like it but I just think it could've been better. Espcially the Wings and Tentacles I've Drawn them much better before. I also think the Wife looks a bit out of place.I really need to learn how to not to Draw in such a big scale.

UPDATES! UPDATES! UPDATES! (AND "LABYRINTH" TREAT)

Hey peeps! It is I De Lady Of Darkness with a couple of Updates. :)


First of all sorry for not Updating just been a bit busy with some Paper work so to make up for it here are a couple of Illustrational works I've done/completed previously some time ago (one I'm still currently trying to finish).

Speaking of which here on the left is the very Image I'm currently still trying to finish of a Multi Limbed Demon Dude! :D Here I'm trying to teach myself how to Paint with Photoshop.

It's a lot easier than I expected it to be but obviously I've still got a very, VERY long way to go so wish moi luck! :)

On the right is a Doodle of some...Weird...FUgly...Y-Pants Wearing...Smelly...Thingy! I don't know what the HELL it is! O_o

I should also point out that this Image wasn't entirely made by me, half of this was also Illustrated by my good Friend Joshua Kahan who himself is also a fellow Animator/Illustrator. In fact I actually used his personal Style for this instead of my usual own. A bit of a Fan Art here on the Left of everyone's favorite Goblin King Jareth from the Cult Classic Film "Labyrinth"! Here I drew him entirely with a Writer Pen! O_o

I'm also considering doing another and even better Illustration of him so do keep your eyes peeled! :)

OH! just for good measure since I LOVE "Labyrinth" so much here's a small treat! 8D

And finally on the right is an Illustration I've attempted of old Style Japanese Art. It's a bit all over a place but hey I think it's worked out quite well actually. :)


Secondly I'm going to be doing a Tribute Illustration to the late, great Frank Frazzetta where I'll be doing an Epic type Illustration done in a similar Style as him BUT knowing the way I work the Illustration itself will more than likely be less serious than Frank Frazzetta's way but hey what's the point of taking inspiration if you're not even going to make it your own. ;) So do look out for it. :)

Thirdly sorry I haven't Uploaded any Animation Work it's just the truth is the majority isn't even finished! O_o As the good old Cleaner form "Toy Story 2" perfectly puts it: "You can't rush Art!" So the Animation I'll more likely Upload for the Time being will be Animation Tests. :)

AND FINALLY THE DEADLIEST SIN OF ALL...PRIDE!

Hey people it's me again! Introducing the final and the most deadliest Sin Pride! :D

Now those who've done their Research will know that Pride is the most dangerous due to the fact that it's the main catalyst cause for the 6 other Sins for without the elements of Pride none of them would exist at all. Of course I would eleborate more but since these are MY Interpretations of The 7 Deadly Sins then I highly suggest you guys go off to do your own Research on this Subject. :p Now here's my Interpreted version of Pride...

Pride is a well dressed, suarve, classy, intelligent, vain and beautifully handsome (come on I'm Woman! Surely I'm entitled to create at least ONE eye candy just for us ladies eh and who better than Pride?! Yes I'm a Female Perve O_o) Demon with a very, VERY nasty and arrogant Evil streak. Since he's the most normal looking of all the Sins as well as a very charming, confident fellow even the world's most biggest cynics end up trusting him completely unaware of his true Evil intentions and by the time they find out it's too late! O_o

Despite being stronger than Wrath (yes STRONGER than Wrath) he solves his plans using his manipulating intelligence and only ever truely uses his strength as a last resort.

He's the Leader of the 6 other Sins who all greatly admire and follow him devotedly. In fact he is the only person they all respect greatly but unfornately he doesn't feel the same way about them and takes great pleasure with treating them all like dirt off his shoe for as far as his arrogant self is concerned he is purely "Superior" of all living things so therefore all must be treated with great contempt! O_o

He has the power to transform into a huge gigantic grotesque looking Monster which takes the strongest elements from all the other 6 Sins but again this is extremely rare which he'll only use as a last resort.

Being Immortal he cannot be killed BUT he can still be defeated for his biggest weakness is his arrogance (despite thinking he doesn't have any at all ooooooo what a surprise) and as the saying goes...Arrogance will be your downfall! :p

And that's the end of The 7 Deadly Sins (it's over already? Ooooooh I feel sad now) but don't worry Peeps I've still got so much Artistic Works to create and show so stay tuned and until next...

PSYCHO GREED & TRAGIC SLOTH

Hey Peeps! Yes it is I De Lady Of Darkness introducing 2 more Sins Greed and Sloth. :D

Greed (botton Pic obviously) is so overly obsessed with Money he'd do whatever it takes to make damn sure every, single Penny is his thus the nutter has turned himself into a Russian Roullette killing Machine! O_o Never, EVER Gamble with Greed for no matter how good you are or how many lucks you have or hell even cheat you'll always automatically lose! He has Gun arms for crying out loud and he isn't afraid to use them! In fact if you dare even think you have a chance then frankly my dears you deserve die! As the saying goes...Live by the Sword die by the Sword! (Or Guns and Money in Greed's case! :p)

Now Sloth (top Pic obviosly) is a completely different Story for unlike the other Sins he isn't even that Deadly in fact he's just a sadly tragic individual. Sloth used to be a well loved and respected Dancer who fell in love with a woman with the most Beautiful Eyes who in return loved him back as she always loved watching him Dance. Wanting to be with her forever he one day made a deal with Pride to grant him an Immortal Life which Pride agreed with. Now an Immortal Dancer he couldn't wait to bring his true love to Pride to grant her the same gift but unbeknowst to him Pride had another Agenda, he was missing a Sin and wanted him! Thus Pride killed the woman with the Beautiful Eyes leaving the Immortal Dancer devestated. Begging Pride to turn him Mortal again so he can be with her Pride points out that once Immortal that's it! So instead Pride makes him another Deal. Since his lover loved seeing him dance he'll have him eternally dancing with her Beautiful Eyes watching him on within his Immortal Wings and whilst doing this the Immortal Dancer shall also sleep eternally so that he'll be able to Dream of being with her forever. Seeing no other alternative the Immortal Dancer agrees and thus the tragic Sin of Sloth is born eternally dancing and sleeping dreaming of his one true love with the Beautiful Eyes as well as her watching him Dance. Sloth's Hypnotic Dance traps those who sees him into eternal sleeps dreaming on as their Eyes soon join those of his lover watching him Dance for her.

WHEW! That is the most depressing Story I have ever told! O_o

ENTER WRATH & GLUTTONY!

HEY THERE! De Eval one here introducing the latest Sins Wrath & Gluttony. :)

Greedy heavily obese bugger Gluttony (bottom Pic obviously) has quite a few mouths (espcially a HUGE one on his stomach) and has a great appetite for people! O_o Unlike Lust (who only eats men the dirty ho! :p) Gluttony isn't very fuzzy with Genders (even bigger dirty HO! :p), as far as he's concerned we're ALL food! O_o You may also notice that he doesn't have any legs. Well the reason for that is because he's become sooooooooooo obesely FAT that his own weight of his belly evantually consumed his legs! O_o But don't celebrate too soon for he doesn't need legs all he has to do is BOUNCE to his prey YIKES!!!!! O_o

Crazy Dude Wrath (top Pic obviously) on the other hand doesn't eat people but he is extremely deadly! O_o With badly tempared personality EVERYTHING pisses him off. In fact if you so much as do somthing as completly innocent as asking him for the Time he'll not only kill you but he'll kill everyone around you as well as your Friends and Relatives! O_o By tearing his Victims apart limb from limb Wrath always makes sure his Victims are alive whilst doing this hence giving them all a slow, painful death. With the Strength of over a thousand men he is powerful enough to kill 10,000,000,000 in 10 Minutes alone! O_o He takes no Prisoners and once you bump into him there's no escape thanks to the Strength and Speed of his 4 Legs making faster than a Cheater and unlike Cheaters he doesn't get tired! O_o But don't be disheartened for there is still chance for you to Defeat Wrath but it takes real wits to beat this guy for his biggest weakness is his pea Brain (all Strength no Brains :p). Out smart him and he's beaten but becareful for he is simply way too strong! O_o

BEWARE BEWARE ENVY IS HERE! O_o

Hey! It's annoying me again! :D

Well folks she's finally here it's the next Sin ENVY! And my God was she bloody hard! O_o But hey she turned out well so it was ALL worth it in the end! :D

Now believe it or not I orginally envisioned Envy to be Male but then I realized that Lust was the only Female I had in the group so I had to create another.

This BIATCH basically hates other Woman and kills them (no prize guessing why) so if you're a Beauty Queen...YOU'RE SCREWED!!!!! :p And I don't know but I've always envisoned Envy to be a Reptialian type Creature so as you can tell I've taken aspects from other popular Mythical Reptile type Creatures and VOILA! Here's Ze Result! :D

JUST A QUICK UPDATE

Just a quick Update!

These pieces of Illustrations which my lovely dear friends would/should know aren't new, they were completed Months ago BUT since I haven't Posted these on the Blog yet I might as well do that now.

The Image of the Female is a Man Eater known as "Lust", one of the 7 Deadly Sins which I hopefully plan to use as possible future Villians. They'll be more Sins Illustrations coming soon BTW so do keep your eyes peeled.

The Image of the Male is a Mutant, Demonic Vampire. I drew him due to my frustation at how Vampires (my favorite Legendary Monster) have now become crappy and sissified nowadays. (Stephanie Meyers how could you?!) And as you can tell I went a little extreme but hey he looks a hell lot better then any of the new Vampire Characters right now. He too is a Character I'm considering using as a future Villian for my Story. I also plan to do a bit of a Test Animation of him hopefully pretty soon (if I'm not too busy) so once again do keep your eyes peeled.
